Our tRAINING STANDARD
Because exceptional care starts with exceptional preparation.
In addition to our support workers' medical and health backgrounds, prior to their first shift with you, our team completes our internal training program tailored specifically to your care needs. Ensuring support that is unique, safe and compassionate.
Personalised Personality Profile Exam
Before your support begins, you complete a Personality Profile that helps us understand what matters most to you — your routines, preferences, communication style and goals. Your support worker is then assessed on this information, ensuring they know you properly and can support you in a way that feels personal and aligned with your needs.
Participant Condition Exam
Each support worker is assessed on their understanding of your condition, including its medical background, daily challenges and care considerations. This ensures every worker begins support with confidence and compassion for your specific needs.
Scenario-Based Exam
This assessment mirrors the real scenarios that may occur during your care. For example, managing sensory overload, assisting during an epileptic episode, responding to emotional dysregulation or safely manual handling. This helps us ensure your support worker can use sound judgment, respond appropriately and manage situations safely.
